Story
Gon lived in an island far away from the cities. He wanted to become a professional hunter like his father, so he got the permission from his aunt to join a hunter's test.During the test, he made some good friends, Killua, Kurapica and Liorio. He passed many tests and exams in order to get his hunter licence. During the process Gon grew up a lot, so as Killua, but he still couldn't free himself from the fact that he was the son of a killer family. After the test, Gon went to visit Killua in his place, and Killua changed his view towards life.
They began to train themselves in the Sky Tower, and they learnt about Nen and Ki, a special aura each of them possessed which greatly increased their powers. They both learnt how to use their ki smoothly and once again set out to look for Gon's father.
They then learnt that there was a hunter game known as the "Greed Island" and was made by Gon's father. In order to look for clues they decided to enter the game, and completed it with Bisuke's help, their new teacher in ki techniques. Killua passed the hunter test this year, and together they continue their quest for Gon's father.
Characters
Gon Freecss: Gon is a lively kid from the Whale Island. He lived with his only aunt who took care of and raised him. He completed the mission set by his aunt and received permission to join the hunter test, where he became good friends with Killua, Kurapica and Leorio.
Killua Zaoldyeck: Killua is the youngest son of the Zaoldyeck family, the legendary family of assassins. He was chosen as the heir to the family occupation but he wanted to have a dream of his own. He joined the hunter test to test his abilities, but Gon changed him very much.
Kurapica: Kurapica is one of the rare survivors of his tribe, who were all killed by a secret grup of people known as the "Spiders" because of their beautiful red eyes. In order to have revenge on them, Kurapica wanted the hunter licence, but he was not the type of person who liked to kill.
Leorio: He was aiming to be a doctor, and didn't know why he joined the hunter test. He met Gon before the registration for the test where Gon helped him for a time. Although he was not as strong as the other three members, Leorio was one dependable ally.
Hisoka: Hisoke was a strange man with a strange taste and strange actions. No one knew what he was thinking. He was a strong opponent since his appearance and was never defeated by anyone of the group. He also have a strange Ki ability which made him one of the strongest in the "Spider" group, but he had no intention of following the boss' orders. Gallery
