Story
Tohru Honda's mother died in a car accident, and she lost her home. Her grandfather offered her a place to stay, but since more family members came to live there, Tohru moved to a tent in the hill by herself. One day she came across a big house on the hill, and learnt that it was the house of her classmate, Yuki Sohma. The Sohma family allowed her to stay with them in the house, and Tohru learnt about the Sohma family's secret - there are 12 members who can turn themselves into animals.Tohru promised to keep this a secret from every one else. As time went by, the mouse Yuki and the cat Kyo began to like Tohru. They even skipped family celebrations to stay at home with her. The head of the Sohma family, Akito learnt about this and became furious. Tohru was afraid that her memory would be erased. She went to see Akito with Yuki and Shigure, and finally got his permission to live with them.
Characters
Tohru Honda: Her mother died and left her all by herself. She lived with the Sohma family afterwards. She was a brave and strong girl and didn't like to show her weakness in front of others.
Yuki Sohma: The mouse of the Sohma family. He was good in academics as well as martial arts. He dislike himself because he always thought that he was not brave enough to fight Akito although he hated him.
Kyo Sohma: The cat of the Sohma family. Since he was the cat, he was not allowed to be in the big Sohma house. He regarded Yuki as his only enemy. A monster was sealed inside his body.
Saki Hanajima: One of Tohru's best friends. She had the ability to detect "electrical currents" in the air. Many classmates who dislike Tohru and planned to harm her were defeated by her.
Arisa Uotani: The other of Tohru's friends. She was a yankee before and admired Tohru's mother, who was one of the strongest yankee gang leader in the past.
Akito Sohma: The head of the Sohma family. His death was decided as soon as he was born. He had a bad temper and liked to ruin the happiness of the Sohma members.
Momiji Sohma: The rabbit of the Sohma family. His mother's memory of him was erased, but he always chat with her, claiming that he was the child of some other Sohma family member.
Shigure Sohma: The dog of the Sohma family. He was in charge of the house where Yukia nd Kyo lived. He was an author who had the habit of handing in the scripts late.
Hatori Sohma: The dragon of the Sohma family. He was the family doctor as well. He had a lover who used to help him, but they were found out by Akito and he had her memory erased.
Ayame Sohma: The snake of the Sohma family. He was Yuki's elder brother, but Yuki hated him very much. He had a clothing shop which only sell women's uniforms.
Hatsuharu Sohma: The cow of the family. He had strange black & white hair and liked to fight with Kyo. Despite of this, he cared for Kyo very much as well.
Kagura Sohma: The pig of the Sohma family. She had a crush on Kyo and was going after him everywhere. She had a special way of showing her love for Kyo - beating him up.
Kisa Sohma: The tiger of the Sohma family. She was reluctant to talk at first because her best friend, Hiro ignored her. Tohru helped her regain her courage to talk to other people and she became a frequent visitor to her place.
Hiro Sohma: The sheep of the Sohma family. He liked Risa very much and told Akito about his feelings. However, Akito becam angry and hit Risa whenever he saw her. Hiro was afraid and ignored Risa bacause he didn't want her to get hurt.
Ritsu Sohma: The monkey of the Sohma family. He had the habit of dressing up like a girl because he regarded himself as a very weak person. He always made mistakes and liked to apologise non-stop.Gallery
