Story
Sakura Kinomoto accidentally found a book hidden in the basement of her house. She opened it and the Clow cards all flew away. She met the guardian of the Clow cards, Cerberus, whom she called Kero-chan. Kero told her to help him gather up all the separated Clow cards, or else the cards will do harm to the world if they are left roaming around. Sakura accepted her quest and collected the Clow cards. During the process, a guy and a girl in the names of Li Syaoran and Li Meirin came as her rivals, but they ended up being friends.After the cards are all gathered up, Sakura faced the Last Judgement by Yue, the other guardian of the cards. Yue was actually Yukito, a friend of her brother whom she liked. Sakura passed the judgement and became the heir of the Clow cards. Then here came the mysterious transfer student to her class and strange things became to happen again. One by one, the Clow cards turned under the name of Sakura, and the transfer student, Eriol, revealed his true identity as the reincarnation of Clow Reed, the creator of the Clow cards.
Characters
Sakura Kinomoto: A grade 4 girl who found the Clow cards and became the captor of the cards. She didn't know about her magical powers before that. She also likes Yukito and her friends. 
Tomoyo Daidouji: Sakura's best friend. She witnessed Sakura's first time when she captured the Clow cards and became the clothing designer for Sakura's quests.
Syaoran Li: A transfer student from Hong Kong. He tried to ask Sakura to quit being a card captor. He is good at Chinese magic and uses a sword to capture the cards. He fell in love with Sakura afterwards. 
Touya Kinomoto: Sakura's elder brother who has the most magical power of the whole family. He has the ability to see ghosts. He gave all his power to Yukito because Sakura was not strong enough as their master.
Yukito Tsukishiro: Touya's classmate whom Sakura likes very much. However, his real identity is Yue, and Yukito is only his fake name.
Kero-chan: A stuff toy resembling the greatest guardian of the Clow Cards. He likes sweets and cakes and has no ability before all the cards are gathered.
Meirin Li: Syaoran's cousin from Hong Kong. She came to Japan to assist Syaoran in collecting the Clow Cards. She treated Sakura as an enemy at first. She likes Syaoran and claimed to be his fiancee.
Cerberus: Kero's real form. A lion with wings. He can shoot fire from his mouth and carry Sakura flying around.
Yue: Yukito's true identity. He did not accept Sakura as their new master till Eriol, ie. Clow revealed to him. He is a loner and needs a lot of magical power in order to become Yue. Yukito doesn't know anything about Yue.
Mizuki Maho: Sakura's new teacher. Since she came, Syaoran had sensed something special about her. Her job is to deliver a bell from Clow to Sakura which enabled her to release the power of the stars.
Eriol Hiiragizawa: The reincarnation of Clow Reed. He became a transfer student to Sakura's class because he know Yue would not accept the new master. Syaoran thought he likes Sakura and hates him. Eriol creates many events in the town forcing Sakura to turn all her Clow Cards to Sakura cards.
Fujitaka Kinomoto: Sakura's father. He is kind and caring, and really loves his wife although she is dead. He promised her that he will never cry. He is a professor of History in a university.
Nakuru Akitsuki: A transfer student to Touya's class. She wants Touya's magical power, and helps Eriol although she doesn't know what he is thinking. She is not actually human.
Supi: Another stuffed animal like Kero. He is also a creation of Eriol (Clow). When he eat sweet stuff, he gets mad and becomes uncontrollable. 
Ruby Moon: Nakuru's true form with butterfly wings. She is stronger than Yue in terms of speed and power. 
Spiral Sun: Supi's true form. He and Sakura never met until the last battle, and he fought with Cerberus while Eriol attack Sakura and Ruby fought with Yue. 
Clow Reed: The creator of the Clow Cards. He is regarded as the greatest magician at that time. Gallery
