Story
Kyon is leading a normal student life until the coming of a weird student - Suzumiya Haruhi. She has a strange habit of looking for strange or mysterious things and consider normal school life boring. She has joined all the clubs in school and quitted them all in a short time because they are "too boring".Haruhi organized her own club finally, known as the SOS Brigade. This strange club has no particular activities, unless Haruhi comes up with something suddenly. Haruhi forcefully pulled some members into the club, one of which is Kyon, and started to look for her mysteries.
One day, Kyon was told to meet Yuki Nagato, one of the SOS Brigade members, and learnt that she was in fact an alien. As well, all the other members have something unique and abnormal. Mikuru is a person from the future and Itsuki is a person with super powers. They told them that everything is going accoring to Haruhi's will. Kyon's life began to get complicated...
Characters
Haruhi Suzumiya: Beautiful, energetic and good at everything, Suzumiya Haruhi is the girl everyone in class is eyeing on. However, she is only interested in aliens and mysteries. She opened a strange SOS Brigade herself and pulled Kyon in as the first member.
Kyon: A normal student who wishes to live a normal student life, but the series of strange events tell him that his life will not be that easy. Trying to understand the situation he is in, Kyon keeps Haruhi calm to avoid disasters.
Yuki Nagato: The only and former member of the literature club who was taken to join the SOS Brigade. She is in fact an alien with strong powers. Her mission is to keep an eye on Haruhi.
Mikuru Asahina: A shy girl from the future who was forced to join the SOS Brigade in order to attract members and donations (an evil plan by Haruhi). She is also sent to watch over Haruhi.
Itsuki Koizumi: A seem-to-be-normal guy with super powers which he cannot use at his present state. He is the vice-president of the SOS Brigade just because he agrees to Haruhi's decisions most of the time. 
Ryoko Asakura: Some good girl in the class who seems to care for Haruhi being isolated from the rest of the class, but in fact she is the helper of Yuki and attempted to kill Kyon to shake Haruhi's will.Gallery
