Death Note

Story
Whomever's name is written on this note will die from a heart attack in forty seconds, unless the method of death is written within the next six minutes and forty seconds. A death note is a little black book possessed by a shinigami who writes down people's name in it to kill them. Light Yagami, a university student, accidentally found one of those black note books on the street and met shinigami Ryuk. From that time, the new saviour of the world, know as Kira, was born. Kira uses the death note to punish criminals at first, but later he uses it against anyone who opposes him.So, a match between Kira and L began. Who will win in the end? Will justice be maintained on Earth? Or will Kira take over as the new god?
Characters
Light Yagami: A university student who hoped to become a police officer when he finished his studies. He accidentally picked up a death note on the street and used it to punish the criminals on earth. Disguised under the name Kira, Light carried out his mission as the new saviour of the world. 
L (Ryuusaki): A mysterious person who offered to help the police on the investigation of Kira. He named himself Ryuusaki after he knew Kira had the ability to kill if he knew the name and face of the person. However, he was killed by Rem because his existence will threaten the life of Misa. 
Ryuk: The shinigami whom Light met when he picked up his death note. He had a special like for apples. He did not care who get the death note or what he would do with it. He only wanted to witness the interesting fights between interesting humans. 
Souichirou Yagami: Light's father, also the head of the Kira investigation team. he believed that his son is innocent from the start and allowed L to install surveillence cameras inside his apartment. However, when L locked Light and Misa as his targets, Souichirou offered to help him discover the truth. 
Tota Matsuda: One of Yagami's subordinates. He was loyal to the investigation team all along and was willing to risk his life in order to reveal the identity of Kira. 
Rei Penber: An FBI agent whom L recruited to follow Yagami's family members, especially Light. However, his identity was discovered during a bus incident and Light had him and his colleagues killed. 
Naomi Misora: Rei's fiancee who was also a past FBI agent. She also had sharp eyes and suspected Light as Kira. In order to take revenge on Kira, she worked her best to make Light reveal himself, but she failed and got killed. 
Watari (Quillsh Wammy): L's helper who helped him transmit his findings by bring his computer to the police. He used the fake name Watari and was actually the owner of an orphanage.
Misa Amane: The second Kira. Her parents' murderer was punished by Kira and Misa vowed to help Kira with all costs. She accidentally picked up a death note and met the shinigami Rem. She also gave up half of her life span to get the shinigami's eyes which allowed her to see the name of a person whenever she looked at her face. 
Rem: A white female shinigami which Misa met after she picked up her death note. Unlike Ryuk, Rem did not sit on the fence, instead she favoured Misa and threatened to kill Light is he harmed her. 
N/Near (Nate River): The successor to L after he died. He was a kid from Watari's orphanage. He had similar behaviour to that of L's and like to play with toys or his hair. With the help of his companion Mello, Near succeeded in cornering Light and revealed his true identity. Gallery
