Story
It seems that pure-blood Kuran Kaname is protecting Yuuki against something that not even the vampires themselves know... And Cross Academy is becoming more and more insecure as time passes...As Yuuki tries to recall her memories 10 years ago, it seems that there is always an invisible force hindering her. At lest, with no other choice, Kaname bit her and her memories came back. Yuuki found out that she was also a pure-blood vampire from the Kuran family, and that Kaname is her elder brother..
At the same time, another member of the Kuran family, Rido, whom Kaname called as uncle, is retrived. He controlled a large population of vampires and came to Cross Academy in search for Yuuki. On the other hand, the Hunter Association seems to have something on mind as well...
Characters
Kuran Yuuki: The pure-blood princess of the Kuran family, whose memores were modified so that she could live happily away from the painful existence of vampires. However, the vampire within her was waken and now she had to escape from the people who were after her.
Kuran Kaname: The successor of the pure-blood title in the Kuran family whom all vampires respect. He made a promise to his parents that he would protect Yuuki with all he has. He was also the one who killed Rido ten years ago.
Kiryu Zero: The prodigy vampire hunter from the Kiryu family. However, since he was born with a twin, his powers were not as great as the legency of his family. He was also bitten by a pure-blood vampire, Shizuka and turned into half-human, half-vampire.
Kiryu Ichiru: Zero's twin brother who was born weak and could not do the tasks of a vampire hunter. He left with Shizuka after she killed her parents and waited for Rido's resurrection in order to kill him. However he was too weak to do so and in the end he chose to gave up himself to Zero.
Ichijou Takuma: Kaname's friend whose grandfather was a supporter of Rido. He did not want to help Rido, but has no choice because his friend, Shiki's body was used and he wants to save him.
Aidou Hanabusa: One of the vampires who is always seen around Kaname. He fears his dorm leader but at the same time respects him since they were children. He took care of Yuuki after she was awaken.
Shiki Senri: A vampire who is quite and seems to be uninterested in anything. He was called back home and became the container of Rido's soul before his resurrection.
Kain Akatsuki: Another vampire who is around Kaname. He acts more logically and is always there when Ruka is in danger. He also acts like Aidou's advisor sometimes, especially when he is going to domething that will make Kaname angry.
Touya Rima: A vampire who is good frinds with Shiki. When Rido possessed Shiki's body, Rima fought him and tried to bring back Shiki's conscience.
Souen Ruka: A beautiful vampire who likes Kaname, although she knows Kaname will never choose her. She is willing to give her blood to Kaname, though he refused. She continues to fight for him in order to show him how strong she is.
Seiren: She is kind of like Kaname's bodyguard and acts on his orders.
Yagari Toga: A vampire hunter who was also Zero and Ichiru's master. He came back to Cross Academy to see how his student was doing, and later helped in the defence of the academy against vampires.
Cross Kaien: Headmaster of Cross Academy. He wants to create a place where humans and vampires can live peacefully together. He was once the strongest legendary vampire hunter, but he give up his position due to unknown reasons. He took care of Yuuki because of his promise with Yuuki's mother.
Kuran Haruka: Kaname and Yuuki's father who was killed during Rido's invasion to their house ten years ago. 
Kuran Juri: Kaname and Yuuki's mother, also Haruka's sister. She gave up her life in order to seal away Yuuki's memories and let her live happily as a normal human.
Kuran Rido: A member of the Kuran family who comes back to claim the title of the sucessor of the Kuran family. He was the only one that Kaname could not totally kill because he had retrived him once.
Hunter Association President: President of the Hunter Association who issue tasks for the vampire hunters. He is mysterious and seems to be hiding something to himself. When the vampires began to attack Cross Academy under Rido's order, the president was also present and fought with Kaien.Gallery
